Coastal house, Devon

Sea view
Hamptons style

James and Abby, both working from home, wanted to relocate to the coast and found a perfect sea view house in Devon on the same day it went on the market.  Lots of light and amazing view but it came with a bland and boring decor, so they called me to help. The house had been extended upwards into the roof forming a new room with extensive sea views.  We starting by highlighting the two bulkheads at each end (part of the roof structure) with bold colours.  Teal green at one end and a burnt orange at the opposite end, leaving the rest of the decor white. We added a restrained nautical reference with a Hamptons inspired window seat for gazing out to sea and a study area with a desk and shelving which all worked perfectly.  Both Abby and James are delighted with the result and no lobster pots in sight!

Annie recently re-designed our new living room, and did such a fantastic job! She was everything we needed and then some, she listened closely and took everything on board, and came up with beautiful ideas - giving us so much inspiration when all we felt was clueless and daunted at what to do! Now we know what colours and furniture pieces we want (all within budget!) and are feeling excited about getting on with the project.

Great investment and we are already looking forward to working with Annie on the rest of the house!
