Dr Temi's new townhouse
L-shaped room zoned and defined
L-shaped room zoning
Temi or Tee as she is known, moved into her new 4 bed town house a few weeks before contacting me. When we spoke she was still moving in with plenty of boxes still to unpack. But Temi doesn't waste time, just after she moved in, she found me and shortly afterwards we had a plan as to how she would transform her new property into a warm and cosy home. Lockdown permitting!
Both of us keen to turn the bland, characterless property into a bright and positive home. We quickly created a neutral and bold palette of soft truffle and deep teal blue/green. Planning the awkward L-shaped living room first. Linking and defining the whole space by painting the 90 degree angle walls in teal. Zoning each area into a cosy corner to watch TV and a little study area with desk and bookshelves. The magnolia soon gave way to a bright, sophisticated scheme, with bold colour and contrasting dark furniture which grounded the scheme.
Love love them. Thanks so much for downloading my dream on to paper. Now to bring it to life!
