Empress Works, Hackney
Jodie is a busy Trader working in the City needing help to furnish and decorate her first starter home, a 2 bed flat in Empress Works, Hackney. The complex is designed in an industrial style with large warehouse style windows and exposed concrete interiors. It also comes with a resident's roof terrace overlooking the Regents Canal and stunning cityscape views. However like most new builds, once viewing the show home your new home can look a bit empty and cheerless, so where to start to make a warm, cosy home for Jodie?
After a couple of zooms at the flat with Jodie we got to know her style and what she wanted to achieve. A hard edged industrial style was not on the cards as it was her first home and it was important to feel cosy and homely from the start. Jodie loved mid-century modern and had picked out classic furniture in playful colours. Ensuring flexible seating was also important as Jodie was keen for visitors to get comfy in squishy chairs. The floor to ceiling Crittal style windows wrapped around the balcony showing off stunning city views and the industrial landscape. Finishing touches were accent lighting, rugs, artwork, translucent blinds to filter daylight and neutral linen curtains to sweep over at night. Stunning during the day and cosy at night!

We discovered Annie through internet search, looking for a designer to help with ideas and concepts for my daughter's first flat in London.
From the moment we interacted with her, she was just amazing and we knew we had made the right choice.
Super friendly and helpful and had some wonderful ideas. Her and her team were of immense help and at all times were very efficient, produced some great work and were excellent value.
I couldn't recommend her enough for a project such as ours, we would most definitely use her again.
