Jason's Croydon Terrace

Open up and coordinate  ground floor open plan

Jason and partner Kerry-Anne recently expanded their Croydon terrace with a large building project.  This includes a wrap around two storey extension adding two extra bedrooms, a new kitchen and living room.  Jason contacted me to help finish the project with a colour palette and decor scheme acceptable to both Jason and Kerry-Anne.  Needless to say, Jason is into bold colours and Kerry-Anne prefers neutrals!  Using a tonal taupe scheme for the main decor, provided a neutral background for bold accent colours in the hallway, kitchen and living room, which they both loved.

The family needed plenty of storage so we included a wall of floor to ceiling units cleverly disguising a hidden utility room door in the kitchen area.    The two fireplace recesses were also designed with plenty of storage.  The light, spacious kitchen situated at the south facing end of the new open plan space had folding doors to the garden as well as additional daylight coming from the large overhead ceiling lantern.  Dining well catered for with breakfast bar seating on the island and separate  dining table.  Open plan space aligned and neutral and bold decor scheme makes everyone happy!  Bright, cheerful family home.
