The living room features a large bay window and wood burner in a brick fireplace, harmonising with the new garden room brickwork. But the living room layout did not allow enough space for a sofa as the back wall had two doorways opening on to the hallway. Decision made to block up one door to unlock space for a sofa. We included an artwork gallery behind the sofa and American style shutters at the window.
